Transferred Minecraft worlds not loading on different Xbox 360

I have 4 Minecraft worlds on one 360 that I transferred to a different (older generation) 360 via a configured USB thumb drive. I made sure the older XBox went through a system update and also transferred my gamer profile to ensure I had permission to copy
and play the files. I saved them onto the hard drive of the second (older) XBox and proceeded to launch Minecraft and attempted to load one of the transferred worlds.However, once the world loaded, I discovered that it was not my saved world. Instead, it was
a completely different and completely unused world. I then went to the menu and attempted to load a different transferred world, and the exact same unused world was loaded. This happened to all 4 of my transferred worlds. Are there incompatibilities between
the newest and the oldest XBox 360 generations? Or did I do something incorrectly?

Minecraft

You can't transfer it from the memory stick.

Also, you will need to have the "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" game, not the "Minecraft" (without the "Xbox One Edition" in the name).

To transfer your world to the Minecraft Xbox One Edition, start your Xbox 360 Minecraft, and make sure you have the latest version of it installed by having the Xbox 360 connected online to Xbox Live.

The latest Xbox 360 version has a feature to transfer one world at a time to a transfer slot. Upload your world to that transfer slot, and then move to the Xbox One.

Start Minecraft Xbox One Edition. There you will have the option to import a transferred Xbox 360 game from the transfer slot.

Once the world is imported, you can repeat these steps for other worlds you have on the Xbox 360.

After you transferred all your worlds to the Xbox One Edition, you can start the "Bedrock Engine" Minecraft on the Xbox One, and again transfer your worlds from the Xbox One Edition.

Transfering Minecraft Xbox 360 to Xbox One X won't work

Together with Mojang support I found out the problem why I do not manage to import my saved worlds on my Xbox One X in the online purchased version of Minecraft.

The Minecraft Xbox One version that you can buy online in the Microsoft store is a different version than the Minecraft Xbox One version you buy in the store (DVD). The online version is the so-called Minecraft (bedrock code base on xbox one) version.

To import the saved worlds, you first need to export the worlds on the Xbox 360 Minecraft version, import them into the Minecraft Xbox One Edtion import and then import old worlds into the Minecraft bedrock codebase version. (Minecraft Xbox 360 -> Minecraft
Xbox One Edtion -> Minecraft Xbox bedrock codebase).

You end up with a version that you do not use, but you can then sell it via e-bay to fellow gamers who have the same problem.

So it is possible and fortunately not as Microsoft indicated earlier that the worlds would be lost.

Sorry you are having issues. The 2 should be compatible.

1. Ensure you have the right saves (a little obvious I know)

2. If you play the games (worlds) on the first console can it be done from the USB?

2. Is it possible to put your saves in the 'cloud' then bring them to the other console that way?

3. You may need to transfer your rights to the older console. It may help.

Transfer - Settings > Account > Billing Options > License transfer
