Transfering Purchases to a Newly Created Account

My kids have been using my Hotmail account for all their gaming. I want to play Flight Simulator. I seem to be having troubles when the kids and I try to use my account at the same time. If I create a new account, can I transfer my recently purchased 170 gig MSFS game to the new account? If I create a new account for the kids instead, can they transfer all their stuff to their new account? I suspect transferring their things will be difficult because it is extensive. I would prefer to have my own Hotmail account back.

With regards to your concern, transferring of digital content such as games, or other Microsoft digital licenses are not possible. But for Xbox, you have an alternative which is to share the games to them by the use of Home Xbox feature.

For this, all games you installed on their console will be playable to them and you can play on your account as well at the same time with them. Even if you are both login at the same time. First, just download the games on the console then make it your Home Xbox.

Here is the link how you can set the console as the home Xbox https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne... but for the DLC's those are not shareable so they will need to start over.

Did you just recently create the account that you are attempting to associate your gamertag with? It is my understanding that you must wait to transfer to/from a newly created account.

It seems that even though this random account is created and you haven't created an Epic account yet, go and create one and link the 'old' gamer-tag to it. This apparently transfers all the purchases from the random account to the newly created one. Then
remove the old link and just add the new one and all the purchases should still be available.

Not too sure what you're asking.

Is this "normal account" yours, originally? Do you intend to use this newly created account as your permanent one?

In case if you are asking to migrate/transfer achievements and save data across different accounts, then no, this would not be possible.
