Transfering Games

About a fortnight ago i tried to download Saints Row 3 for free on my brothers console on my xbox live gold account and it was taking too long to download and my brother had to take me home and i noticed that it got added into my download history so i waited
another fortnight and my brother told me that he downloaded saints row 3 on his xbox live account which he also has a gold membership and which he did download it. so i went and logged into my account and i was able to play it on my account which i already
know that if one person downloads a game all other accounts on that console has access to that game aswell. so i wasnt going to bother downloading it on my account since my brother already did so i stayed on my xbox live account and i went into settings then
storage then games and i copied it on a 32GB USB and which wasnt fully configured for xbox standards and i was able to play the game and i even saved my gameonto the USB aswell so i dont need re-create another character and so i went back home 2 days later
and i tried toplay it on my xbox console and it didnt work and when i did try and download saints row 3 which i did mention earlier in the question my console at my house was connected to the internet. so the main thing is if i have sr 3 in my download history
but cant play it since i copied it off my brothers xbox. is it because he downloaded the game on his xbox live account or is it because the USB isnt fully configured. i did download Tomb Raider and i managed to play it on my dads xbox and i had Tomb Raider
on the same USB but that was a around about the start of the year

P.S Sorry for to much detailed i just wanted to give you as much information as i could

Xbox ones network transfer question

Wondering if anyone knows if the new xbox one networking transfer ability will slow down speeds from your internet if you're transfering stuff? (I got two xbox ones on a community shared wifi and was transfering games from one another and just thought about
the question)

Since you did download it from your account, you should be able to play it on any console as long as you are signed into Live, even with the copy on the flash drive.

So i have to be connected to xbox live to play it but there is something i forgot to mention in the description that my xbox hasnt been connected to the internet for the past week

well yeah as you need to be signed into live meaning you have to be online to be able to play games on a different console.

The license transfer only transfers game licenses between console. There is now way to transfer games between accounts.

The license transfer only transfers content lisenses. It does not transfer game saves. You would have to use a data transfer cable as suggested or a usb drive to transfer the saves.

If you know for certain it is corrupted, avoid doing a transfer. You could transfer content but the odds are good that the content will be corrupted in the new HD. Transfer cable transfers game saves, profiles, achievements, game licenses etc.
