Transfering files to get past large downloads

Thanks for coming to the forums. In theory, this should work, as it is technically like downloading it to the console. Then his license will pick up that he owns the game. You however would then have to redownload the game onto the external hard drive if
that's what you use to transfer it.

That should work also, but may cause issues. We recommend to try it and if it does have issue then a transfer would be needed.

but the thing with the downloads on xbox live is the game comes down unpacked, the more files there are the slower the transfer speed and games can contain thousands of small files which will go to crawl speeds, if it was one large file then the download
speed would stabalise at a faster rate, they should just download a zipped up package then unpack locally which would reduce download times and reduce data usage.

Seasons Pass Files, online passes or any game licenses should be located on the Xbox 360 Hard Drive. They not large in size. So move or transfer your seasons Pass file back to your console or just re-download the season pass from the market.

Yeah, I've seen that I'm not alone. I haven't touched my UPnP settings... I'll give that a shot. I just tried a different Xbox HDD (250gb) and still no luck, still stopping at 31%. Also, my connection is DSL. Thanks for the input. At this point, I'll try
