    Transferability of games from one X1 to another.


    Because I have never done this before, I need someone to answer this for me. If I were to buy a new Xbox One console, can I install my "old" Xbox One games from my other console onto this new one? Using the same profile and everything? I ask this because
    I want to get the new 1TB version, but I want to be able to install my old games on it, and I heard that the Xbox One isn't friendly towards installing games that have been previously installed to another console.

    Microsoft anti family?

    It's not really a problem if you think it through.

    Have every one start their game tags on the first X1. Call this the main X1

    they can access their accounts ( through the cloud ) on another X1 in another room.

    they will still have to have the disk but this keeps you from having to buy 6 of every game.

    It's the same as access your account at a friends house.

    Issue with Live TV and Choppy Picture

    Another good test (as cable quality varies) is switching the cable from the Cable Box to the X1 with the one from the X1 to the TV and vice versa.

    Xbox One is actually incredibly friendly towards installing games on a new console.

    When you sign into any Xbox One, your games and saves come with you. Just log in, and all of the games you own will appear in "My Games and Apps" for you to install on the console. This will even work at a friend's Xbox!

    However, only one Xbox is considered your "Home" Xbox - this console shares your Xbox Live Gold membership and all of your purchased content with everyone else on the system, so they can use it too. If you purchase a new console, just change your Home Xbox
    (see
    support.xbox.com/.../my-home-xbox    ) and all of your content will work on the new one just as it did on the old one. Lastly, please be aware that you can only change your Home Xbox three times per year.

    Games are not transferable to the X1. Only music and video.

    Content cannot be transferred from one profile to another.

    But data ie, game saves and DLC can be transferred from one HDD to another via a data transfer cable, but will only work under the profile that it was downloaded into.
