transfer xbox live gold

Our Xbox died and I brought one on ebay second hand. How do I transfer my Xbox live gold account to the new console please?

A couple of xbox one questions.

like posted above.
xbox gold will be transferable... we are unaware if it will deactivate your 360 gold membership
your gamertag+acheivments will carry over.

i am on the fence what i will do with my 360 if it kills my xbox live on it with a transfer. i was planning on putting the 360 in the bedroom for netflix/prime. but i would hate to be out 120 a year in double subscriptions.
now if the time warner app for 360 is good i may leave it hooked up and active for the tv app/netflix/prime and use it in the bedroom. really depends where i put the xbox one i guess.. could go in the bed room... depends which tv i have it on.

Simply sign in into the new console with your account. Live membership is tied to your account and not to the console.

The gold live is connected to your account. Just sign in with your account on the other console and you should be ready for some gaming.

 

Just sign in with your account details that was used on other console

 

Remember to make it your home console and you can go to your Microsoft account and remove your old console.

 

Should be as simple as logging in and linking your account on the new xbox, and setting that new xbox as your home console

 

Gold is tied to your account and not the console. Just sign into you new console. You will have to redownload any digital games you own.

 

All you gotta do is add the accou t with xbox live onto the new xbox the gold luve should work unless it expired

Just as stated above, Xbox live gold is linked to the account not the console. Once you install your account to your new or old console, then you will require all your content linked with the Xbox live gold.

Make sure you know your email and password information , then just install your account (How to add or remove a Microsoft
account on Xbox One)
