    Transfer Xbox Live Gold subscription


    When renewing my son’s Xbox Live Gold subscription it was connected to my Xbx account instead of his. For him to use it I have to be logged in to Xbox all the time, which unables me to limit his screen time in family settings. When the time is up he can
    just change account and continue playing on mine.

    I therefore wonder if the subscription can be transfered from my account to his. Payed for a year and not too keen on adding a new subscription.

    You would have to try contacting support to see if they can cancel the purchase and so the purchase can be made on the correct account. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
    Contact Us | Xbox Support Otherwise, nothing can be transferred between accounts.

    Alternatively, if you set the console as your Home console, he can still access the gold without you being signed in.

    No, to get an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription on another account you will have to buy another Gold subscription, you cannot transfer Gold from one account to another.

    You will need to have a minimum of 2 Xbox Live Gold subscriptions with three Xbox Ones.
