Transfer Xbox account data to different Microsoft account.

When I first got an Xbox, I was quite young and so naturally, my parents set my Xbox up with their Microsoft account.

I'm much older now and the fact that all my Xbox data is on my parent's Microsoft account is now becoming a hassle (for example, sending a verifcation e-mail to my parent's when it would be much easier for it to be sent to my e-mail).

Is there any way I could transfer all my Xbox data (gamertag, games, friends, gamerscore etc.) to another Microsoft account? I have full access to both accounts in question.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and apologies if this is a somewhat unclear query.

Purchases and game data are linked to your Microsoft account and can't be transferred to a different account.

Have you added your email to the XBL account? If so you should be able to remove your parents email (or leave it as a backup) from the account.

Hi there

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums. The only suggestion I can suggest is to update the security info including the verification code to be sent to your email.

It isn't possible to transfer all xbox info in regards to friends, achievements and all that unfortunately.

I could be wrong but i do believe you can add an email address and phone number to the account. But as for transferring one gamer tag to another account isn't possible sorry.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Communities Forum. Your Xbox profile and data is tied to the Microsoft account it was created for; changing your account's email alias will not affect your Xbox profile or data. It is not possible to transfer this to a different Microsoft account.
