    Transfer data question.

    Hi, to transfer content licences associated with your console you must sign in to the console with the profile used to purchase the content. Once signed in go to Settings > account > billing options and select licence transfer following the on screen instructions to transfer the licences to the new console so other profiles can use the content. Content can not be transfered across profiles only across consoles - hope this helps

    Confused about sharing digital games and license transfer

    Okay, can someone clear this up about transfering licenses for the 360? Let's say I wanna share Destiny with my friend. I buy the digital copy and I download it. Then my friend on her own separate 360 goes onto my account and downloads it. Now she did a license transfer to her account. She should be able to log onto her own account after she's done playing Destiny and play it. People are saying you would have to be on the account that purchased it to play it, and you have to be connected to Xbox Live at all time, unless you were on the console where the game was first purchased on, then it would be available for all the profiles on that console. Are they including if you do a license transfer or not? Because to my knowledge, once you do a license transfer on let's say account A to console B, then any accounts on console B can play any games that account A owns.

    Live account banned, license transfer DLC??

    Sorry if your account is banned that brought the dlc and purchased games, you will not be able to do a licence transfer with the new account as it content cant be transfered between account

    and no there is no transfering dlc between accounts lol

    you login into the account and console your want to transfer to and goto account settings

    tranafer dlc licenses to the said xbox the dlc is usable on the new xbox offline

    the purchase and download history stays thr same on the purchasing gamertag

    you need to login the account that purhased it

    license transfers dont occur between accounts only consoles

    the reasob why its saying full version is becuase it is expecting you to sign in with the purchasing gamertag

    thats not how you do a transfer

    you have to redownload the content with the purchasing account or do a license transfer using the purchasing account via the new console

    The games are tied to the account that purchased them. If he creates a new account they cannot be transferred to his account.

    Ownership of games, and other purchases, cannot be transferred between accounts.

    If the old account keeps the console as its 'Home Xbox' you will continue to be able to play them, and can make new purchases on the new account, but you cannot transfer ownership of the games over to the new account.

    I know this isn't the answer you want, but I hope the clarification helps.
