Transfer old gamertag to new account without access to the old account. HELP

I want to transfer my old xbox live gamertag to a new Microsoft account. I cannot access the old account as it was suspected that somebody else was using that email account, and I cannot successfully complete the automated account verification process. Can
anybody help me!?

ps. please don't tell me to repeat the account verification process again as I believe I would be forced to repeatedly punch myself in the face. Thanks

DLC transfers

On my new xbox I've redeemed my old account but I've changed the gamertag, I'm wanting to transfer games ext from my old xbox to the new one but the data is owned by my old gamertag can I still transfer from the old gamertag to my new one ??

Hi Jack,

You cannot change the Microsoft Account (MSA) without access to it, BUT what you can do is call support and give them the reference number (ACSR) from the email you have received from the system regards the failed validation. They can send it to manual validation
with some other details so make sure you are at home and can provide the details they will ask. Once it is sent off and the details will match up in the system you will be able to get a password reset link or the contact email which you need to provide will
be added to your account to receive recovery link. I hope you still have the email so you don't need to fill the form again.

Nothing can be transferred between accounts. If you still have access to the old gamertag, you can still access most of your purchases on the new account as long as you have the console license on that console. If that is not the original console those were
purchased from, you would need to sign into the old account and do a license transfer -
