    I just purchased a new Xbox one after my 360 took a crap on me. How do I download my previously purchased marketplace 360 games to my new One console? or is it even possible?

    Hello! Can I get Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One if I purchased it on the Xbox 360 marketplace? Like a license transfer cross-consoles? I don't want to have to re-purchase the game.

    different by game, some games offer Discount Price when you own 360 Version of it, a few games offer free download to one (like pinball fx2), but in general you would have to purchase them again.

    its best you check your marketplace before you do so you dont miss out any possible offer.

    The Xbox One is not backwards compatible with the 360. However, if you decide to purchase an Xbox 360 console again at some point in the future your games will still be available in your download history.

    The Xbox One is not backwards compatible with the 360. However, if you decide to purchase an Xbox 360 console again at some point in the future your games will still be available in your download history.

    Transferring games for $10 would be for purchases made on xbox marketplace. Have you checked trade in prices at you local stores to trade your 360 version for the one version?

    To add to SirSuperKnight's post... Remember that after you do the license (DRM) transfer from Xbox 1 to Xbox 2, your profile will be the only one with access to the downloaded/DRM transfered content on Xbox 1. Any future items you purchase on Xbox 1 will
    be open to all profiles until you do another DRM transfer.
