I've bought my son the Star Wars Battlefront 2 for his birthday. As I don't use xbox at all, I've bought the game on my account. How do I transfer it to him?

Question about the "my xbox home" setting

So let's say I have one account with some games and another also with some games, however one of the accounts has a game I'd like to use on the second account, if I made the account with the game I had wanted to transfer the home xbox it would transfer that
and any other game I don't have on the second account.

However this reverts if I change my home xbox to the second account correct?

Content can not be transferred between profiles

That's correct. You can't transfer saves in any game from one profile to another. The saved game is permanently tied to that account. Sorry.

Transfer of game to correct account

I'm afraid nothing can be transferred between accounts.

As long as the account that bought the game is on the console your son will be able to play the game.

The console will need to be set as the home console, you can find out how to do this here

As Battlefront 2 is a E.A. game your son will need to be 13 years or over to play the game online.
