    Transfer my gamertag to another account


    I need to pull my gaming account to another account. My current one is attached to my work email. I know I can change my email address on the live account, however I have work accounts, such as Visual Studio and other products tied to that email address.

    Error 0x8015402d | Microsoft Account Error | Xbox 360 Error

    The link above says I can transfer my gamertag, but does it transfer my game purchases to the account with the gamertag? The article says the money stays which is fine but my question is the games and other content I have purchased. I don't want to lose
    it if I lose my job.

    Deleting gamertag from a windows live account

    As already stated by Zen, yes, everything will carry over and the only change will be the email that your account is associated with. It's a rather simple process too Transfer my gamertag to another account :)

    Actually, game saves are also linked to each account and can't be transferred for use on another account. No other gamertag can access a save made by another gamertag.

    Hey there IronicPanda. Apologies, but once you create an Xbox LIVE Profile, it can not be deleted. You can change your gamertag to another Microsoft Account by follow the instructions in the link below. :)
