    No. Rewards credits can only be deposited into your Microsoft account balance.

    This is very annoying, as I'm not using the xbox service anymore, so I thought I could use it some other way.

    I was hoping I could use my rewards money for what ever I wanted, where ever I wanted. I did extra things to earn them. oh well, no more... thanks

    The original post was referring to the Xbox Rewards program which is no longer available. If you're part of the Microsoft Rewards program, you can use those points for other types of gift cards.
