Transfer issue for my Xbox One X

Hi, so I have a nagging problem.

I have two 8tb External HDDS that I keep my games on. One is set to be the default install location.

So to conserve space I split the hard drives into 2 sections of the alphabet. One HDD (left one for this purpose) handles A-M, the other 8tb handles N through Z.

So this console is on retail dash. No insider both hard drives are seagate 8tb externals you get from costco use a power supply that comes with them.

Now the reason why I need help.

I have some games on my HDD that go on the second one based on their alphabetical lettering and so I go into either settings or games and apps and manage space. I click on the A-M drive and choose transfer. Here is where it begins. The drive slowly loads
up games but as its cycling to display individual size of each game my hdds turn off and the xbox one x blinks 3 times and shuts off. I power back on the console and its business as usual. Ive done this numerous times.

I got this console when MS first offered the gamepass deal where you go to the MS store and pay for 2yrs of live and game pass with a credit card in 2018 brand new. Got the extended warranty.

I dont have any issues power cycling or internet so I dont need help with that. The console is in warranty from the extended protection I opted in for until 2021. I dont want to mulligan and the store is closed due to malls being closed in NY. So with this
whole deal, do I possibly have a defective console?

I tried that and still my Career mode progress won't transfer over.

The system is treating them as two different games as they are listed as separated games in my Achievements list and none of the achievements I got in the Xbox One version have unlocked in the Series X version either.

I'll see if transferring over the Xbox One version of the game to my Series X fixes the issue.

I had a similar issue after transferring from my old Xbox One to my new X. I ended up removing my account from the X and then adding it back in to resolve the issue. Everything was there after I added my account back to the system.

Ive thought the same thing. Funny thing is the console functions as intended but this transfer process it goes Halt and Catch Fire full stop.

Potentially sounds faulty i’d say contact the support team and see where you can go from there? Otherwise I would try some troubleshooting!

Hi! are you having issues with a particular game? you should be able to transfer everything on your xbox one x.
