Transfer halo from one windows account to another

I recently purchased the game Halo Infinite for my son. I inadvertently purchased and installed the software when I was signed into our shared PC under my personal profile/account. This means that my son can only play the game when he is signed in to my profile which is not ideal because he needs me to sign him in and also because my profile has admin rights which I don't want him to have. Can I re-install Halo Infinite when I am in my son's profile on the PC? Or can I transfer the software from my account to his account?

Unfortunately you can not transfer game licences and as you know only the profile that bought the game is able to play it

You would need to either let him play on your account or buy the game again but now using his account

You can transfer licences from one Xbox to another, using the same account, but there's no way to transfer licences from one account to another.

Sorry, this is not possible to do. The use of the license transfer system in this way is not prohibited. A license transfer cannot be used to transfer one piece of content from one console to another. It transfers all licenses from one Xbox 360 to another Xbox
360, not from one Xbox LIVE account to another Xbox LIVE account.

You can't transfer DLC from one account to another, but if you bought the dlc on that console or bought it on a different console but transferred the licenses, then you should be able to use the dlc on any account/gamertag on that console. So on a new account
you should still be able to use the Halo map packs that are on your old account.

Hi, no it is not possible to transfer licenses from one account to another. The only license that can be transferred is from a console to another console.
