Transfer gold card number

Discus and support Transfer gold card number in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my son entered his 3 month gold card on the wrong account. Is there anyway to transfer it or recover it?     Glitch in the removing payment options

    Most often in situations like that, The gold membership was on auto renewal to that card, and you did not turn it off so that there is money owed to that card. You will have to add another card to the account to transfer over the charge, Or contact Support.
    U.S. Number is 1-800-469-9269. There is also a chat option underneath the support tab.

    Right so I’m from the uk however I have a usd (dollar) gift card number one will it redeem it and number 2 will it transfer over to pounds , thanks

    officially there is no option to transfer a subscription or digitally purchased games to a different account.

    But for a situation like this you can try to contact Xbox Support (by Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) to see if they can cancel and refund the subscription on the 'wrong' account and then you can use the 'refund' on the correct account

    Keep in mind it is up to Xbox Support to determine if this is possible or not.

    I don’t understand either. FYI, you cannot use money in your account to buy gold so even if they did transfer the money you couldn’t buy it. You need to use a credit card, PayPal or a store bought gold card.

    I'm having basically the same problem trying to upgrade from a free to a gold account - getting 'please enter a valid credit card number' with different cards, numbers definitely correct. Clearly the site is broken. Ah, microsoft....
