the games go with the accounts that purchased them.

If the account was your buddies

He can sign into your console and make your console his profiles home console with that any profile on your console would then be able to play his games.

The thing is if he were to ever make a different console his profiles home console then you would lose access to those games.

You can't "transfer games".

But your buddy can share his games to your console, if that's what you mean. The game ownership will still be on your buddy's account, and your buddy can un-share his games anytime.

But your buddy can visit you, sign in with his own account on your console, and go to the console settings.

Under "Personalization", he can then set your console as his "Home Console".

Be aware, that this change can only be made five times for his account within 365 days! So if your buddy changes his Home Console to another console, to share his games there, this will reduce his allowed 5 Home Console changes per year!

After he set your console as his Home Console, he can delete his account from your console for security reasons (or at least protect it with a passcode), and you'll be able to play his games for as long as he keeps your console his Home Console.

Sorry buddy you can't merge accounts or transfer points, Gamerscore or Saves between accounts.

I am starting to wonder if something is going on with the Xbox systems in general. The newest game I bought just did this same thing and I tried 3 different discs, it will play on other systems but not on mine. My buddy had a different game he bought not
play on his system but it will on mine?
