    Many years ago we created a Microsoft Account in order for our son, who was very young at the time, to be able to use his Xbox. He is now 21 and wants to move his gamertag over to his own account without losing any of his history / game settings. Is this
    possible?

    Hi Karl,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Unfortunately, it is impossible to transfer gamer tag and all that done on one profile to another email or profile. If you have games and content you can set that

    profile as home console     so the new account can use that content.

    There is no way to do so that I know but maybe what Flaredkeyz said but I don't know if it is against any rules. But keep in mind if it is an original GT and if it is taken after you change it you will have an # with numbers after it
