Transfer game pass files pc to pc

Hi!

I was playing on my friend account on pc and now I have my own account.

I would like to continue playing but I am not able to use the save files

There's a lot of files with a bunch of numbers an letters, plus documents named "container"

I tried to copy, to delete, to change.. Nothing works.

I don't want to redo the game from the beginning I was almost done!

Does anyone knows how to solve this?

😭 That's what I was thinking..

It worked for steam. It really [mod removed] we can do it for game pass as well

The saves would be tied to your friend's account. You'd have to start them over if you want to play on your own account.

There is no legit way to backup games on a PC. Xbox files are not meant to be seen on a PC or transferred between the two.

No. Files can only be transferred between consoles. They can't be transferred to a pc.

The game files are different from Xbox to PC so you cannot transfer games across platforms.
