transfer from 1 external hdd to another

I have a Xbox One S with an external Seagate 2tb External HDD used for storage. I recently picked up a 4tb seagate external HDD. I would like to transfer all the data and saved games to the 4tb HDD i just go and use that as storage instead. I am looking
for directions on how to do so.

Joey, 1) from the sounds of it, you appear to have tired all available solutions. 2) i'd buy a new 360s model. You'll pay about $100 to repair your current console. 3) you can transfer you connect from the external HDD to the new internal HDD via the transfer
cable. You won't lose anything that is currently on the external HDD.

how do i transfer stuff from my old Xbox One to my new One?

The harddrive isn't removal right? You could try transferring stuff to an external hard drive, then transfer them from the HDD to your new XB1. Another method, every game you download is connected to your gamertag, so you can just redownload it on your new XB1 after you sign in.

Try these steps

Open the Settings app on Xbox One.

Navigate to the System tab.

Select Storage.

Scroll over to the right and select the drive you plan to move content from.

Select Transfer.

Select the items you plan to transfer. If moving all items, choose Select all.

Choose Copy selected to copy all items between drives. To completely move the items, select
Move selected.

Choose the drive you plan to move content to.

Press Copy or Move to initiate the transfer.

Well I'm 1/2 way thru transferring all the content on my 500gb internal HDD to my new WD 2TB external HDD.

Of course, you can transfer installed games from an internal HDD to an external HDD (Manage game->Move)

1 - if you can try the external on another xbox to see if the hdd has died (it happens)

2 - try another external hdd on your system, to confirm your ports are ok (if not hardware failure and repair needed)
