Transfer fifa points from game to game - 18-19

Ive juat bought the new FIFA 19 for my son and also bought him Xbox points, but ive bought him points for FIFA 18, which we didn't realize until hed loaded them onto the console. My question is, can someone tell me if i can transfer them over from game to
game and if so, how?

was wondering what the stance was when a genuine mistake has been made by a vendor, but i have redeemed the voucher code.

I asked for the £15.99 fifa 19 points pack and have been given fifa 18 points. I dont even own fifa 18- so the points are there but not used. I bought the fifa 19 game at the same time. I contacted Tesco and they have said try to sort with microsoft as i
have now used the voucher. Would it be possibly for Microsoft to move these points to my Fifa 19 game as if you look at my library i have never owned fifa 18.

Im hoping this is an easy fix and transfer, anybody else had these issues?

the first time you log in FIFA 19, you will be asked if you want to transfer your points from 18 (valid until December 31st). Otherwise contact the support Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support refunds are

The first time you logged in to Ultimate Team, there is a prompt to bring over unused FIFA Points from the previous installment. If you don't see that option, please refer over to EA Support
for assistance with in game content.
