Discus and support Transfer Data from one XBOX One to another in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is there an easy way (I.E. using a usb drive) to transfer my game downloads from one XBOX One to another or do I just need to re-download them?...     You would either need to redownload them, or you can connect an external HD and move/install your games to the external HDD. The External HDD requirements are that it is at least 256 GB in size and is USB 3.0. I have not verified that when connecting to
    a different Xbox One that it will load the games correctly from the external HDD however.

    I am thinking about getting the new CoD Xbox One to upgrade my Hard Drive space along with getting the game and custom controller. I need to know how I can transfer all my game saves and data as well as Downloaded games. I know xbox came out with the update
    t support external hard drives but I really need to know how this will work before I make a decision. Anybody have ant suggestions or answers?

    All game saves are stored on the cloud so you don't need to worry about that at all. They'll be there when you hook up your new console. As for the external drive, the specs listed above are correct. You can get an external drive in a size ranging from
    256GB to 16TB to store your data on.

    Each game will need to be transferred one at a time. Once done all you need to do is connect the hard drive to the new console.

    If you are keeping the first console then you can simply copy the items onto the hard drive instead of moving them. However be aware that if you make the new console your Home console that your account will need to be signed in to the old console if others
    want to play your digital downloaded games.

    onyx62is is correct. I used a 2TB USB 3 hard drive and was able to move everything to it. I then was able to move the data back to the new xbox one

    Content cannot be transferred from one profile to another.

    But data ie, game saves and DLC can be transferred from one HDD to another via a data transfer cable, but will only work under the profile that it was downloaded into.

    The transfer cable is only meant to transfer data from one Xbox hard drive to another. You would not be able to keep the 60gb connected and use the hard drive like that. The data would have to be transferred to another hard drive.
