    Transfer credits, points and completed work to a new account.


    HELP PLEASE. I have two grandsons that for a few years have been playing Microsoft Games on their Computers and xBox. They have been using my account and credit card with my permission to purchase games and play them. I would like them to have their own
    accounts but they are afraid they will lose all credits, points, etc. information that they have gathered if they try and make any changes. Is there something they can do?

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently inquiring about your grandsons having their own account and the process of transferring over content from one account to the other.

    As stated above, at this time, there is currently no way to transfer over content that has been redeemed or earned on one account to another.

    Unfortunately nothing can be transferred between accounts. If they created new accounts, they will have to start over.

    Hi PRDuval,

    There is no easy way of saying this but one of them will loose out and have to start again which will not be fair on the other.

    You could ask them both to start again with their own accounts and keep that account for yourself. This would be the fair solution.

    Difference between Microsoft Rewards and Xbox Live Rewards?

    With the Microsoft Rewards program you earn points for doing certain things (browsing with Bing, completing specific searches, making purchases from microsoftstore.com) You can redeem the points for gift cards for various things including Xbox gift cards
    or old subscriptions. The points from that program are not directly transferred to your account.

    With the Xbox Rewards program, you earn rewards credits for completing offers (mostly digital purchases from the Xbox store). Those credits are deposited directly into your account as currency.
