Transfer Account Profile to Childs Account

Can i change the status of my account from adult to child? And create a new adult account?

You should be able to add this account to your microsoft settings and change the settings once it's added. You won't have to make a new account. You won't be able to transfer his account information but you can make that account set to "My Home Xbox" so
he can still use the gold membership and games associated with that account here the steps on on

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Settings > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

Do either of the following:

Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

For the account you need to go to Add Family Member add this account to your family see if you can make it a child account.

Adult accounts can change date of birth but there are complications, like you can't be in charge of a family account with a child account.

The Microsoft account age can be changed but not the Xbox account age, that is permanent.

Unfortunately there is no way to add a screen time limit to an adult account: only teen and child accounts.
