Tranfer my Gamertag to my actual Mail.

Hello,

i don´t know if i´m doing something wrong, but it doens´t work.

I want to tranfer my Gamertag from my Xbox Live Account i have used with my Xbox360 to my Mircosoft account, i´m using with my pc, because i bought a Xbox One and i want to hav erverything together on one account. I´ve tried the solution to use the "transfer"
on my 360, but i get a error code 8015402D and it says i should try it later, cause the xbox service has a problem.

Does someone has another way to do it?

This would be the only way to transfer your Gamertag to another Microsoft Account, so could you try again after some hours or even tomorrow and see if it will let you then?

Sadly i have to say that the problem isn´t gone today, I even tried it with another Wifi network. No changes.

just to get all details.

Is there already a Xbox Live Account (Gamertag) present on the target Microsoft Account, if so then that needs to be removed first. Be aware that using the account on WIndows 8 and higher or Windows Phone will auto generate an account.

Another thing to check, is there any currency balance on the Xbox Live Account, since that might prevent being able to transfer the account.

 

I have the same problem as the person above I check everything I even empty the remaining credit on the account and tell me the same error code even with email not use with Windows 8 and most of its brand new mail and its not working. in the background what
I want her to change the address of my parents by my own but its telling me the error helped me please thank you

Are you still having this issue? There's actually been a development that explains this error code: it's no longer possible to change the MSA (email address) from an Xbox 360 console.

These are the new steps you will need to follow:
