    Train Sim World


    I purchased digitally, Train Sim World when it first released. It was then updated to Train Sim World 2020. After accidentally deleteing the content from my X-Box, I found that I could no longer re-install the game. I tried numerous times to re-install
    but it would not work. I bit the bullet and puchased the game+add-ons on disk. Now when I install the disk, all the add-ons install but not the game. If I try to run the game, I am informed that I have to download it from the store and it won't let me. Although
    when I look in games and apps, the game is there. I again uninstall all and re-install all, only to be returned to the aforementioned situation. How can I delete the game that is no longer on my system, so that I can install the version that is on the disk?

    Hi there,

    that is a strange issue, I can't tell if you tried but please try the following steps in the exact order:

    1. Uninstall the game
    2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

      http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console
    3. Check if the game is fully gone and if so try to install again.

    If the game wasn't fully gone, then you might consider a factory reset (perhaps even with removing all installed games and apps) keep in mind that this will require you to Download your profile again too, which in turn requires the account credentials.
