trading in a physical game for a digital version?

is there anyway to do this? i regret buying discs on some of my games and want to go completely digital. i've become so lazy that the idea of getting up to switch games makes me sick, it's like i'm living in the stone age. but seriously, is there any way
to do this? and if there isn't there should be!! like i could bring my game into EB games and they could give me a code.

Hi Coll,

There is no exchange program to switch a physical disc for a digital download. For digital downloads, you will need to purchase the game from the Xbox Store, although you could of course use money from a currency/gift card that can be bought at a physical
retailer like Gamestop.

Any trade ins wont even give you close to what you need for even one digital copy

Idjust prefer digital games to always be cheaper than physical version. trade in maybe - but unless I got 100% always chance id want it back

Noble,, If you bought the physical copy, and want to trade up to the digital, you will have to sell the disc copy, then go in the store, and buy the digital version.. There is no way I know of that you can just trade one for the other..
