Trade GTA 5 in for Far Cry 4?

Yes or no? I've already played GTA 5 Story and GTA Online is pissing me off with Rockstar's servers. Wait for them to make servers better and add heist or is Far Cry 4 worth it?

I have just spent the last week playing Farcry 4 and have loved every minute. Gorgeous game and tons to do, it is very similar to Farcry 3 though, but if you enjoyed Farcry 3 I have no doubt you'll like 4.

 

How long is the story? How is the online?

 

Not tried the online but I hear coop is fun.

I've spent just over 38h and I'm 75% but I think that includes side missions and collectables...etc. Not finished the campaign because I keep getting sidetracked doing other things in the game.

 

If you have other games that you don't play, trade those for Far Cry 4. If GTA V is really not your thing anymore then go for the trade. But if it was me, I'd save the money and have both, or like I said trade in a bunch of other games you don't play. Plus
you won't get the full price of Far Cry 4 if you trade in GTA V you will need to pay extra... at least here in Canada you don't get much.

 

I like both. GTA V is excellent if you have a fun partner.

 

I wouldn't wait for the heists. I get Far cry 4. I've been waiting for the promised heists since I bought it for the 360 on launch. It's not coming anytime soon.

 

Far Cry 4 is way better than Far Cry 3 in my opinion. I love it. I can't get enough. I've played for 2 weeks and I have only done 4 story missions. There is too much to see and do. There are so many epic moments. Easily my game of the year.

 

Far Cry 4 is amazing. I actually kinda feel bad for the Far Cry team, though. They keep getting robbed. FC3 didn't release in time to be included in the award ceremony in 2012. And FC4 had the bad luck to release the same day as Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Both FC3 & 4 were worthy of GOTY awards. But there is always something preventing them from getting it.

 

I would get Far Cry 4. Single player is pretty good and the coop is a blast. The versus multiplayer I didn't really care for. First game since I got my One that I got every achievement in a little over a week. If there was a new game plus for it I would
probably go through the game again.

A 100% completion should take about 50 hours. I'm at 78-79% after 39 some hours, so I'm right on schedule (about 20% every 10 hours)... that's almost 40 hours of pure fun and enjoyment. This game is great. However. I only see a game like this a single player
game, once I'm done with it, it's unlikely I will spend anymore time on it (online), I will move on to the next game.
