Tracking where my microsoft points went

I have many old invoices for purchased points but no way to see where they were spent.

Purchase history from xbox360 console does not work.

I am not impressed with all my attempts to resolve with issue with phone, and live chat. Fail

That thing called a "virtual assistant" = useless.

Stop redirecting me from windows store support and account support and xbox support to "i must sign in.to my microsoft account, All with the same set of help topics.

I give up looking further.

The billing site is the way to go since it will/should detail exactly what each payment/purchase was for.

You can check your download history via the xbox dashboard as well, however it requires a bit more effort to find out what everything cost and when it was purchased

 

You can track your transactions at Sign in to your Microsoft account however, it'll only go back a certain amount of time so it may not show everything you've purchased.

 

What didn't impress you when you tried to resolve that issue via phone and live chat? Were you unable to connect in the first place, or was the person you talked to unable to help?

The Virtual assistant really can't help you with that particular case, that's why you can always dismiss that virtual agent by clicking "No thanks..." and then choosing the topic on the support page to connect with a real life person from the support team.

When you say you have "old invoices for purchased points", do you mean cash register receipts from when you bought Microsoft Points currency cards?

Be aware, that the point system was changed in 2013, and your points were changed to "real world currency", and point cards could only be redeemed until 2014, if I remember correctly.

So if you redeemed old point cards later, it might be that these points were lost.

But as Smwutches pointed out, you should be able to see your purchases on the Commerce Website. I can get to my purchases from over 8 years ago.

All of the above. Call back after 267 minutes was not funny. Way later than estimated and call terminated after 25 seconds. 3 attempts made and then nothing. My 3rd Chat was ended by agent, who was unable to give a reasonable answer. And chat loves to chin
wag, I want to get answers.

I have never purchased a card. Maybe once I redeemed a code from an offer, but still I do not see a breakdown of items purchased with said points.

Why? I own lots of dlc, I want a record of my purchased songs and packs and games and maps. Download history has no details of cost or date.

 

The answer is "NO". Microsoft is a money scam.
