Track progress on Forza Horizon 4

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you want to rest your progress in Forza Horizon 4. Cars and credits are part of your progress. If you reset your progress, your cars will also be deleted.

There is an existing thread about resetting the game and here's one of the workarounds that was shared by one of the community members.

"choose fh4 and go into advanced settings

press reset and launch the game

It’ll try to sync profile press cancel and start a new game.

Then quit the game, next time you restart it’ll ask whether to use cloud or local saves.

Chose local and boom, new profile."

Are other achievement progress tracking at the system level? Is this the only one that seems to be stuck right now? I would recommend

reaching out to Playground Games/Forza Horizon 4 Support here and letting them know the issue you're having, and see what they can do.

This has happened to me as well. Lost all my tracking progress for Forza Horizon 2 - when I checked the achievement app thoroughly, the progress on all locked achievements is now showing as 0%

Forza Horizon 5 does NOT have any announced or planned cross-progression from Forza Horizon 4. Aside from Forza Horizon 1 (which did had loyalty rewards for Forza Motorsport titles), there has never been cross-progression for Forza Horizon titles. You always had to start fresh with each game.

And about Forza Horizon 4: the lack of possibility to use the same save between Steam and Microsoft Store comes from the technical point of the each game. Both use a wholly different methods of saving which is far too much work to make them co-operate, ESPECIALLY considering that Forza Horizon 4 is way past its' prime.

I myself have not tried that option of gameplay in Forza Horizon 4. Rather, I prefer to use Forza Horizon 4 off-road and dirt racing features. if I want simulated track features, I go to Forza Motorsport 7. My main focus on Forza Horizon 4, is to drive
all roads. Might I suggest switching your gameplay to a list frustrating mode. Free room for me is personally the greatest oh, because I am prepared to catch any Forza live event as it drops.
