TP-Link: How do I change my router to enable IPv6?

IPv4 / IPv6 is all up to your ISP if they support IPv6 and so does your router / modem then you will definitely get IPv6. You may need to login to your router as a administrator and change it but you will need to contact your ISP because there is a login
screen you need to pass before getting in. But not all ISP's have a login screen it's just there for security.

For Xbox One to connect to the internet using IPv6, your home router needs to have IPv6 enabled, and your internet service provider (ISP) must support IPv6.

Is your router a Netgear as well or is it from your ISP? If it is a Netgear here is a link to the steps to enable IPv6.

If the router is from your ISP then you should contact them to get assistance in changing it if you can't do it form the Admin on your network.

This is the user guide for the TP C1200. I've had a TP link Archer before and it was a pretty solid router, but I'm not certain
that model allows for local DHCP IPv6 assignments. Details would start on Chapter 13, page 68, for that reference. It will allow for an IPv6 connection from your ISP, but I don't think the software on the router allows for local IPv6 assignment.

I saw your message while browsing for answers and I wanted to ask about IPv6 and im not sure how to enable it on my router and i called my internet provider about IPv6 and they said I do have it but they cannot enable it from their side and that I need to contact an internet expert outside of the company. I can see the IPv6 tab on my internet settings but I do not know what to press to enable it. does switching Address/Prefix Assignment Mode: from SLAAC to DHCv6 enables the IPv6 on my router ? or enabling the ULA mode ? thanks for your time to read my message.
