Toxic gaming culture

Why do you as a company insist on continuing to create a toxic gaming environment? Every step of your business plan after losing out to Sony last console wars has been to continue to divide the gaming community even further with toxic practices. I have an Xbox and I still think that you are being ridiculous in your acquisition of all these developers and the future that is in store for gaming. You have already lost my support going forward especially after hearing that you bought blizzard and left the current boss in charge. You are really messing up here and you need to just give up and work on bringing the gaming community together instead of trying to drive a wedge between them

I think it has to do more with Culture and the hypocrisy of this (any) Culture within a given time. Books, Literature have been around for centuries. Movies just a blink of the eye in History. Video Games, well it's still such
a "new" idea that Culture and even Sub-Cultures (like this Site and many others) can't even really define it.

In short, it would almost be considered blasphemous to "label" any piece of Literature, so it's gets a pardon (for the most part). Movies, Film and even TV got this pardon as well (simply due to the lack of experience of them within a Culture) for a time being.
It has only been as of late that Culture feels the need to "protect" itself from Media and Media Content. Give it time and Literature even with it's "holy shield" will get it as well. There was after all a Culture that felt the need to both "label" and destroy
Literature and just "recently".

@GG well I will try to put this thread back on track fingers crossed before it turns into another flame war thread. I think MS want more Japanese type games on their console after all they are gearing up for the Chinese market.

Ori and the blind forest is definitely a stab at this, the game is obviously influenced by Japanese video games of the past. Even the developer said he grew up playing the likes of Mario and Sonic.

Microsoft need to diversify more from the likes of Halo and Gears etc.

Sony could have 1000 games.

They've had no choice but to throw a smokescreen's worth of last gen games onto the PS 4 to cover up the fact that "Killzone" is really the only next gen game worth playing.

Better exclusives. You can throw "Dead Rising 3", "Ryse: Son Of Rome" into the pile of better exclusives and as groggy Sony stuck it's head back up "Titanfall" and "Plants vs Zombies" smacked it in the face.

So I remain 100% correct when I point out that the XBox ONE has the better exclusives and more next gen games.

Because of this "Games" aren't really a debate Sonyboyz really try and get into when you're talking "Next Gen".

That's why Resolution was such a popular complaint thread for so many Silver members in the past. When it came to last gen games, it was the only area the more powerful PS 4 console was actually able to surpass the XBox ONE.

Unfortunately that pony's been well and truly whipped by "Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition" running at 1080p and 60fps on the ONE.

Just ONE more reason that there's only ONE.
