Toxic community has me rethinking gaming

Just to start, Gaming is a huge passion of mine, been gaming for over 20 years now. Just a bit of a rant here but does anyone else see a huge uptick in the amount of toxic people on Xbox? I swear every game I play has some major
toxic people on it. Miss a shot on Rainbow Six? Instant teamkill and kicked. NHL 18 EASHL? Glitch shots galore. Multiplayer gaming is about to make me want to stop playing anything at all online. It seems to be just cheaters, glitchers, and jerks in general
on here anymore. And the enforcement stuff as well, I got a 24 hour ban for asking for "no noobs please" in a looking for group post but yet some guy can tell me "go ******* kill yourself you ******" and I never see anything happen to them. If Microsoft wants
this platform to be competitive (without trolls) then they have to crack down way more on actual cheaters and glitchers and trolls. I have been with Xbox for 11 or 12 years now and I have never seen it this bad. My girlfriend and stepson as well have an Xbox
One now and even they are being driven away from multiplayer games because of the super toxic community. They are both new and are learning but this ridiculous community feels the need to yell sexist,racist,physically threatening things to them constantly
and teamkilling them and all sorts of other behavior. Not to mention how inconsistent online games are now. I've sent videos of stuff to the devs and nothing ever happens, I've reported people on Xbox and very rarely does anything happen, this community has
me running for the hills anymore. Looks like only single player stuff is in my future.

Online community is toxic. Mic for me is NOT an option. My time in mp is limited. Eventually online gaming will only be played by those who think being a di ck is fun

I understand where you’re coming from however the Xbox Enforcement Team does not use these forums. For information about your account suspensions or bans sign in at this site with your account
at https://enforcement.xbox.com

Only an actual person from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team can impose or remove a suspension or ban on the account. And investigation takes time when you report them
and you might or might not receive a letter from the ET thanking you for your contribution in reporting offenders - "Despite what some may claim, Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions always occur as a
result of a specific Code of Conduct violation. Read more here

Code of conduct violations encompass a number of situations, including, but not limited to:

Engaging in communications that claim or imply that you are Xbox staff

Having a Gamertag or profile content that contains hate speech or profanity

Using in game exploits to gain an unfair advantage over other players

Hacking, Modding or Cheating

If you want to contact the Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team you can file a Case Review - You can't file a Case Review if the suspension is less than 24 hours or you failed the questionnaire.

Perhaps you should rethink your approach to responding to toxic players. Just report them on your console and bail from the game session with them, rather than trying to school them with your own toxicity.

That is a personal opinion and we all agreed to the rules. It is to help keep the community safe. I don't want people screaming obscenities at me for any reason. That makes the community toxic and just invites more toxicity.
