Toxic Behaviour Doesn’t Get Punished

Look, I’ve had enough. I’m trying to relax and play a game, but all the way through I’ve got the guy I’m playing against calling me awful and just generally harassing me. I don’t understand how when I finally respond to his instigations, after 7 messages ignored, a sentence with the word [mod removed]’ in it, I get instantly banned. Usually I would not have a problem with this and I would accept the ban. But honestly, this guy was trying to get a reaction out of me and once he did he immediately reported me, laughing at me as he did it. I’ve seen on other questions on here the common response is ‘two wrongs don’t make a right’. I fully agree, but if that’s the case, then why isn’t he getting punished aswell?! I’m honestly thinking about switching console because of this, as I pay a considerable amount of money to play on this platform and I’m getting banned from using it for saying one word. What happened to free speech? if he’s being a [mod removed], why can’t I call him a [mod removed]? If I’m getting banned for calling him a [mod removed], why isn’t HE getting banned for being one!? I don’t understand why there are no restrictions on toxic, insigating behaviour and I would love for someone to tell me why?

Profanity is caught quicker than harassing behavior. If you reported him, the enforcement team will investigate and take the appropriate action, but investigations can take time. So even if he hasn't had a suspension yet, it doesn't mean he won't. In situations like that, it's best to just report and block.

Unfortunately we have to do what we have left is to report the problems that Microsoft is doing, I know it is frustrating not to see an action right away but these are cases that need analysis and caution. Good luck in the games and have good matches.

The best thing i can suggest is block him an report the harrassing behaviour and messages. Sometimes there are circumstance that toxic behaviour is hard to detect.

I am so sorry to hear that you have encountered such a toxic behaviour from fellow Ambassador i just want to reassure you that this kind of behaviour wont be tolerated in the program as we want and keep on trying to create a safe environment for all and
non toxic behaviour from anyone no matter if been Ambassador or not. I hope you have reported that behaviour of that user and if you ever encounter similar behaviour been fhat from Ambassadors or any users please report it immideatly as those things needs
