Tough to stay all digital

its 40 bucks on live i just bought it today

 

I got two disc game. Amd rest that owned are digital.

 

Its pretty easy for me to stay all digital. $5-$10 off all the games Ive bought so far.

 

I forgot to mention in my last post, not paying tax on digital purchases also makes it easy.

 

Getting up switching disc's grew old for me. I would always buy disc and trade off when done (pro), but now in my old grumpy age I have decided it easier to wait for a download discount and keep the game..... each to there own.

 

Something you want to tell us about there Burst?



I prefer the convenience of digital gaming. The pricing makes it inconvenient to my wallet though.

 

The game mentioned in my original post has now gone up to $50. As of right now I saved $4, almost 10%......

The only digital games i will buy are the ones that are digital only

If its available on disc it will be bought on disc

 

Unless they are from bundle sites like humblebundle.com, I still buy disc based copies of my games.

I'm going to have to activate them with Steam, Origin, etc, anyway so it's the best option. I get a nice disc (mmm, that new game smell) and once activated I get a digital copy too.

 

@Unreal I actually caught that before I posted but I had such a good laugh from it that I figured someone else may lol.

 

Wolfenstein digital on special is $66 here in Aus, Can buy disc version for $40. The difference is still way too much to consider going all out digital here.

 

Or how about since the Xbox One forces us to download games. Why can't Microsoft team up with the developers and add a digital download with the games? It gets annoying to have to download them and still need the physical disc..

I know there are pro's and con's to that set up, but at the point of the force install I don't see a point in buying the physical disc anymore.

But this way there is the best of both worlds?

Idk just a thought.

Judging by his entire post, I think when he is saying 'download', he actually means 'install'.

Personally I like the idea. It's pretty much how the PC gaming market operates these days.

The problem is to do that, give a digital copy with a physical copy, you need to put a unique code in each box copy of the game and tie it to an account on the service. This pretty much killed the used market for PC games.
