Playing as Catwoman. I need help! (Spoilers)

All I did was stay up on the gargoyles and came down to do silent take downs till he gave up. I think it only took 3 times, not tough.

Paying full price for a game doesn't bother me, it's waiting until 2am before I can even start downloading(hope they add pre-downloading soon), and missing out things like getting into beta testing and whatnot.

Didn't Nintendo try releasing games 2 weeks early for digital? That would be an awesome feature and incentive.

I've been using Gamefly for years and now I have myself a nice little plan worked out. If it's going to be a SP only game (or game that I'm likely to only be interested in SP)
then I just add it to my list and rent it. Nice advantage.

When I have the biggest advantage is when it's a game I'm pretty sure I will like and/or buy, but I don't absolutely have to get it the day it's released. Then I just rent it (GF
usually ships it pretty quick anyway, so it's not like I have to wait long) until I decide if I'm definitely buying. Deals with Gold will definitely end up playing a role in this aspect as well. If I start seeing more games discounted more often, all I will
have to do is rent a game until I see it hit DWG for a nice discount. Since it will already be installed, I can buy it from DWG at the discount price and won't need to DL it, but I won't need the disc anymore.

Of course, the biggest problem, which is probably the case with most of us, is with DD games we want ASAP. And it will continue to be a problem until they get digital preloading
worked out, since even if we are willing to pay full price... we won't get it until after... it... f i n a l l y downloads.

Just bought Wolfenstein from the game market place for $46.49 (??) random number...... the hard copy is still selling for $39.99, but for $6 more to download I felt that was ok.

^^ That's what I've noticed. I bought Plants vs. Zombies digitally the other day for about 7 bucks cheaper than the disc version. As long as Xbox/MS continue to offer up good deals for games on the Marketplace, staying with the digital plan will be easy
    for me to swallow.

^^ No - didn't he say he paid $6 MORE to download. But I agree with you @Egg - digital should be cheaper but it rarely is, surprised you managed to get a digital game cheaper than disc....it's rarely the case.

MS are indeed making it difficult for us to embrace/love digital - there's just no support or love from Microsoft for digital (yet).

^^ I know what he said. I was commenting on the prices at least being comparable. I don't think one *should* be cheaper than the other, I just want the prices to be relatively close. If the disc is $40, the digital copy shouldn't be $60, and I don't even
want to hear from people who are going to compare the digital price with what a used copy at Gamestop runs. That isn't the same thing.

  10. If digital versions of games were released 2 weeks in advance everybody would go digital.

^^ Hell no. I wouldn't. The guy up above you spent more money $46.49 than a disc version and when he finishes it in 3 days he will be stuck with it forever. I bought that game for 60 euro and traded it in a week later and got $45.00 back. That was a hell
of a lot better than nothing and being stuck with it when I knew I wouldn't play it again.

I see absolutely no reason to go digital.

I tend to agree with that. If it's a game I know I will get a lot of play out of, like a Halo game with both SP and MP that I enjoy, and I'm pretty confident that I will 'get my
$ worth out of it' then I have no problem going with a digital DL. But if it's a new IP, or something with SP that I will likely have a limited amount of time playing until I move on, then it's a rental.

Case in point, right now, I'm renting Watchdogs. I have 0 interest in the MP and have online invasions turned off. I've done absolutely nothing with any of the online features/missions.
I know it's going to have a relatively short playable life for me and probably no replay value either. It's a pretty good game and all, but there's no way I'd spend $60 for it digitally.

I'd go digital if the prices were better than its disc counter part. But it's not. And I know that digital is basically competing against retail but it's still difficult to see an all digital future when disc based games are for the most part cheaper.

I can easily afford to go digital. Its even easier because of Bing Rewards. So far Sniper Elite 3, Killer Instinct, Stroke Suit Zero and Strider have all been free for me.
