    Total Novice - X Box Install Query


    Hi. Never owned an X-Box, but looking to purchase one in November / December. My query is this. My TV screen is wall mounted, with no furniture below. I have a room behind the screen that is kitted out with shelves etc. In this room I have all my DVD players,
    cable tv box, hifi equipment etc., all connected to the screen through the wall via cables. If I purchase an x-box, will it work being in the room behind, or do the controllers need to 'see' the main box or is everything wireless? What is the range? Thanks

    Hi Monkspark.

    That should not be a problem, but every setup is different and it can be hard to tell up front. I have a similar setup with all my main consoles in another room, at it works very well with the Xone, having a range of about 10 meters (32 ft.) in my room with
    my Tv's and projector.

    Oh comon’, that sucks:

    Wow.. this guy really started a thread to complain that he actually found an enemy that was tough to kill? Is the game only fun for some people if they walk unchallenged through every fight? If that's the case, just put the game on Novice and have a blast.
    If you can't win on Novice you should sell your X-Box and never touch another game as long as you live. lol

    F1 2021 update

    A novice myself ( having a 12 yeaer old grandson really helps). We had an external hard drive on the old x box one x. Just connected it to the series x and loaded the game from disc, but selected the option to put it on the external drive. This allowed it to load fully with the updates. Then just went to the menu and selected the option to move the game to the the internal drive.

    Once done it worked fine.

    Hello, I am from India & I have had same issue as Thijs mentioned. Somehow the game vanished while installing & now I cannot even find it in download history nor in my games & apps. Customer care for x-box didn't respond properly when asked for this query
