Total new profile??!!

Hello guys and girls, today I got my xbox one and as you can imagine I was so excited. I set up the console and entered my details for my profile as my friend said it would switch from xbox 360 to xbox one if you signed in with your previous email and password.
So I signed in and low and behold, I have no xbox live, no friends, no gamerscore and no games in "my games" my xbox 360 gamertag was l WizZeh l and now even my gamertag has changed to ???! I've lost everything and I'm not impressed. Can somebody
help me please?

to say the best place for RTS games is the PC.

The keyboard and mouse just offers far more control in an RTS game than a controller can do. If the next generation of consoles supports keyboard and mouse as a control option I've sure we'd see some great RTS games. As it is we are going to have games like
Halo Wars, which while good are simply let down back the lack of control over your forces.

 

Total War

The battles in the Total War series are huge in scale. Reducing them to small squads or insta-kill missile strikes may keep a strategy element but for me would remove the feeling of being a general in total control of your army. It'd be more like playing
a God game than a Total War game.

In all honesty the only good console RTS I've played, the one that really got the controls, the feeling of command, and the options correct, is Command and Conquer on the Sega Saturn.

 

It sounds like you entered a different email address and therefore set up a new account. The name is a generic name given to new accounts, that you can change once for free within the first 30 days after creation.

As for your old account, if you go to the Xbox One and in the upper left click the picture then "Sign In" you will be able to transfer that account to your Xbox One if you add the correct email - the one associated with the gamer profile.

Hey Maxen, well the email is the right one for my old profile on 360. IF i'm wrong, how do i find out what the email was for that account? Would i have to set up my xbox 360 once more to see what the email was? If so, that's fine but i'd just like to know.

i have done the same thing and not impressed either ive had the same microsoft username and password forever i just swithed today and it got messed up i have nothing just like l WizZeh l. i used to be "lazyeyemcgurk" now im i would love to
know what happened....i have been playing around with the xbox one for 2 hours before i could even start it up correctly had a problem with updating earlier. then i finally get through and go through the steps my whole account is gone.....not impressed with
the support so far cant get a hold of anybody i know its christmas but crazier and crazier things keep happening to me on this console and i just got it. -chris

 

i think somehow we caught a glirtch when we were switching ive tried to change my gamertag back and it said it will charge because ive had it for over thirty days i have had the same gamertab for over 4-5 years never changed it.

 

i logged in to my shiny new xbox one with the gamertag that I have had for 7 years and low and behold, i was assigned a new gamertag. What is even better, my microsoft account has the new gamertag as well now... it is ridiculous. How does this happen microsoft?
you can keep even this level of information secure? i now get to wait 90 minute for a call back. glad i am paying for this... i sign in under my usual tag and the new different one is there. none of my achievements, games... nothing

 

guys maxen13 was correct i figured it out by turning my 360 back on and i logged right in no problems so i went to my billing information and i entered the wrong email adress stupid mistake can be so aggrivating but i sighned right in went i put the right
information in. thanks maxen you got me thinking of why i wouldnt have had the right one good looks brotha. -chris aka illegalpumpkin lol
