    Total Black Screen


    So, been without internet for a bit, and thought to HOTSPOT for a moment to hop on LIVE. Well, there was an update (I am in the preview program), so I sat through that, and got a full black screen for my trouble. I cannot access the Guide, so I cannot
    navigate. At all.

    If I throw in a disc for a game or movie, I will get the title card or BLU RAY screen for all of two seconds, then back to black screen.

    It is an XBox One S 2 TB

    Yes, I have hard reset.

    Yes, I have display reset.

    Yes, I have shut it off and unplugged all the cords.

    No, I cannot use the guide to navigate anything. At all.

    If I hard reset, I get the XBOX ONE logo for a minute while it loads, then back to black.

    No audio, either, unless I hold the power button on my controller, which DOES bring up the "Shut Off " screen.

    If I hit "REPORT A PROBLEM " from there, and go to "Network Settings", I am back where I started at a black screen.

    So, hopefully I have been clear enough that I don't immediately get the "Have tried the basic crap that any moron would already have done before posting? "

    What do I do?

    EDIT: gamertag is LordArionis, since for some reason it keeps saying "Unidentified User" on here.

    Xbox One Black screen

    Same thing here with my 2nd console (I returned 1st for having controller disconnect issues). 2nd console I returned for this same issue plus controller disconnect issue. People will try to tell you it is an HDMI handshake issue, but its not. Total black
    screen, but audio works perfectly. Same thing happens to my brother (black screen). Only solution is to reboot.

    You make it really hard to like xbox one!

    Only time I have I don't think its been related to instant on, as its mainly been controller issues. Or a total console freeze or the Black Screen. Could be related I suppose but I don't think so.

    Xbox no longer working after update! Please help.

    Exactly my problem i cannot even access the troubleshoot menu by holding down the 3 buttons... It's totally dead. (Sometimes it try to start but it stuck in the green screen and after some time it become black, but most of the time just black screen/no signal),
    Help please.

    I uninstalled the latest update. I tried to restart game through Xbox Console Companion. It started then came up with set optimal settings for single player. This is recommended for most people. If I say yes it goes to a black screen with MW flashing at lower right corner. Then nothing. If I say no the screen is totally black and no logo.

    so what do I do now?

    Kinect for Xbox One Not Working in Games

    When the game starts up to show the main screen, there’s a box on the left of the screen showing what the kinect sees. That shows a total black screen. Underneath that kinect view is another box that shows the kinect’s field of view and normally, if you
