Torchlight III always starting in windowed fullscreen mode

I'm playing Torchlight III on the Game Pass, and every single time I launch it, it starts in fullscreen windowed mode.

The thing is, when I go to the settings, it says that it is in fullscreen but actually it isn't. Everytime I need to press alt + enter twice, and then go to the video settings just press to apply the configuration and it would change to fullscreen.

It's a pain in the **** do that everytime I want to play the game. Is anyone having this issue as well?

Go to the game folder and find the file localsettings.txt in Fullscreen change to 1, save and test again.

Did you try starting it in windowed mode. Turn fullscreen off from the settings ini file.

roblox does not have true fullscreen mode same as a lot of games these days, it is actually borderless even if you select fullscreen, so the task bar will always appear at the bottom if the mouse moves down there.

I played Van Helsing on Steam a few years back. Solid FREE game that is for sure. Although, it starts out pretty SLOW and DULL. The story is short and there isn't an "end-game" mechanic like Diablo III or Path of Exile on Steam.

It is a dumbed down isometric, with more similarities to Torchlight II than Diablo III. But hey since we didn't get Torchlight II on console this game will definitely fill that void. And FREE means you can really make your friends play with you! lol
