I have Sunset Overdrive on my list, but I'm still on the fence about it. From what I've seen it looks fun and different, hence the reason I'm looking forward to it, but I guess it's the fear of the unknown being a new IP and all. I know what I'm getting
with Destiny, Halo, and Call of Duty, and I know Ori is a new IP, but it'll probably only be $15, so it won't be a big deal of it's not so great. I figure I'll just wait and see what reviews say before I make a decision, but I'll definitely rent it regardless.
I noticed a lot of you guys are excited about Sunset Overdrive too, but are any of you worried or just nervous about it. Has anybody played it personally?

 

Also, I'm not surprised to see a lot of picks for the Master Chief Collection, I don't see the reason no one would not get that game, unless they're just not a fan of Halo. It's the greatest value on one disc since the Orange Box.

 

well IMO the master chief collection is the best remake of ANY game even that so called top marks game on the other console

For me, there are 3 not-yet-released games coming this year that I'm definitely buying, plus 2 that I am very much considering, but on the fence about:

1.) Assassin's Creed - Unity: By far the number one game I'm looking forward to this year. I'm a huge AC fan, IV was a tremendous improvement (story wise) over III, plus I'm looking forward to both going back to more vertical architecture as with the first
four games as well as more direct Templar/Assassins storyline. For the last two protagonists, Templars/Assassins was very tangential to their storyline. It was boring with Connor, kind of refreshing with Edward, but I'm happy to see somethimg more back in
line.

2.) Sherlock Holmes - Crimes and Punishments: I like a good puzzle/mystery, and this looks like it could scratch that itch. I haven't played many of the previous Sherlock games in this series (I have Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis on PC, but haven't put much time
in), but having one come out for my new system so early in it's life--and looking like by far the most refined product in the series--really gives me interest.

3.) Forza Horizon 2: I never bought the first one, but I did rent it and play the demo and it was just really, really fun. I preferred it vastly to traditional Forza and now you are putting the game in Southern Europe? Crazy. I am not a rich man, though,
and I still have to buy the new P90X for the Xbox Fitness in addition to Assassin's Creed and Sherlock Holmes, but if I have the money, this one will be added to the library for sure.

4.) Sunset Overdrive: The game looks really fun, but this isn't a genre I typically get into. I'll probably just rent it, but if that rental turns out to be really fun... well, who knows.

5.) NBA 2K15: I loved the NBA 2K series on 360, but aside from the awesome graphics, the Xbox One version of 2K14 was hot garbage. This game is on my wait and see list. Do they fix the interface, bring back some really mindbending stuff they got rid of last
game... or do they just release the same crap with new rosters?

I'm interested in a few others as well, like Dragon Age: Inquisition, but 5 games in 4 and 1/2 months is actually a LOT to be looking at already. I'm probably tapped out already and 2015 is looking like it'll be pretty stacked.

The next Assassins Creed and Elder scrolls online (Console), A bit on the fence with DA3 given that DA2 was so terrible (Bioware Sequels = fail).

Only dedicated game would be Smash Bros on Wii U, I think Crackdown 3 is 2015? If it's this year then I'll add Crackdown 3

... I couldn't come up with a 5th. Halo 5 doesn't release until late next year, and Final Fantasy XV is a mystery to me.

I'm definitely not getting Halo MCC at release. Been there and done that, might consider when the price drops down to around $35.
