Top 5 threads on Top 5 things that have become a Top 5 irritating thing.

Nobody seems to be bored with multiple Destiny threads,when these is a dedicated Destiny forum on Xbox one games sections.

At least Top 5 threads are in the right place...Same as EA access,"i want to be part of Xbox one beta",ect.....

 

Yeah threads of "Substance"

It's a general discussion so people are going to generally discuss things, its like saying well hows 15 threads of preview invites helpful to a new person, the 1000 odd threads on how MS is going to fail or people have nothing but a 500$ blu ray device.

Or in regards to this thread, lighting a fire amongst people about top 5's

The forum is full of drivel that tends to bury usefull info, but you have the choice to read it or not eventually there will not be anything relevant to Top 5 and they will fade away like the daily 1080p threads have, the bickering of available games on
both platforms and how MS has shafted people by dropping prices and not refunding them or giving them free games.

 

Exactly Tzar. Those have info about the game or on joining the beta right? Top 5s are cool but a slew of them all at once is sorta self indulging, again, one persons opinion...

 

id rather see top 5 threads than 30+ threads about beta invites

 

I'd love to see a million posts on lore of middle earth. Doesn't change the fact that it doesn't belong here. Man, the irony is I could have ignored top 5 threads and they would die. Lol. I singlehandedly revived all and started some new ones...lol...

 

"Info" on games should be on Xbox one games section especially when there are 10 threads on the same game in here and a dedicated forum section for it.

Usually others games threads are moved to the right section.....

Or maybe they should change the way forums sections are set.

 

The thing about individual game sections of this forum is they are so hard to browse too. Hell most of you cant find the Off topic forum. If you make a post in the Destiny forum it would be viewed by probably 5 people.

 

They should get new forums or at least change these to have a much clearer layout and probably a section specifically directed at those new people that is free of irrelevant stuff etc

But yeah at the mo threads that are annoying, we are left with only the option of ignoring it really.

 

Tzar, I get ur point but, this is an X1 forum, not games or an anything else forum. A lot of people (especially those new) come here for info... K then...

I even started on Top 5 Xbox 1 apps. It got about 9 posts within 5 hours. It's become an Xbox fashion now many peps are starting one. It's like Gangnum Style and What Did the Fox Say. All my Xbox friends know about that.

 

This is the busiest part of the forum's, if everyone posted in the correct place's, the X1 general discussion would be as dead as everywhere else on here. I don't really care what people post as long as they keep posting, last thing I want is for this to
become a ghost town like the rest of Xbox.com.

 

I share the same thoughts as @24 on this one. Start an X1 game discussion and it gets moved to the dark void of the forums never to be heard of again. Drop by the Australian section of the forum and you could go months without a response from someone.

I believe talking about X1 games is in fact XboxOne general Discussion.

That's pretty much because it's hid in subcategories under
PC GAMES. Most people posting in the Xbox One section of the forums are not wondering around the PC Games section imo. If the Xbox One section had an off topic subcategory, it would probably be more findable by people interested
in Xbox. (as findable as it can be with this forums layout. lol)
