Top 5 most aggrevating Boss fights (POSSILBLE SPOILER ALERT!)

Hello everyone

As the title of the thread says, what are your picks for the "Top 5 most aggrevating Boss fights". Just to be clear, these fights have to be so aggrevating that the very idea of having to go through them (the bosses on your list) is going to make you pick
another mission / etc... or just flat out make you change the game that you're playing into something else.

With that being said, here are my picks...

(1) Cyber Akuma --> Marvel Superheroes vs Streetfighter (Playstation One) --> It is impossible to beat him without "Infinite Health" & "infinite Hyper Combo Guage" which is unlocked by the power of something that is called the Game Shark.

(2) Alpha 152 --> Dead Or Alive 4 (Xbox 360) --> I love DOA4, but I'm not going to fight her 22 times in Time Attack just to unlock Tengu.

(3) Murai --> Ninja Gaiden (Original Xbox) --> Max out you inventory with health potions / ressurection scrolls & good luck.

(4) Tartarus --> Halo 2 (Original Xbox) --> I've beaten every Halo Campaign Mode on the Heroic difficulty setting (except for Halo 4 because I didn't even bother to play the Campaign at all, as I got Halo 4 specifically for Spartan Ops) and it took
me forever to take him down.

(5) Evil Wizard Guy --> Castle Crashers --> His multiple forms required you to save your health potions for the latter half of the fight.

Spoiler alert, ChunLi has a gender reassignment operation and Zangief admits to being overpowered and a fondness for undies 5 sizes too small. Seriously, the stories are so bad in street fighter it actually makes King Of fighters sound good.

Call of Duty 2 *Veteran Difficulty* Hell no...

Phantom Ganon (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest) **** this guy!!!

 

Great Thread Lei Fang! These were aggravating, but the only one I hated is Alpha 152. The rest I dealt with, and enjoy but they were just flat out hard (playing on Hard).

1. Raam (Gears of War) above poster nailed it, Jaysus would you just DIE

2. Alpha 152 (DOA4 and DOA5) I hate her

3. Final stages of Mass Effect 3 (if you have played it, you know what I am talking about, my lord)

4. Archdemon (Dragon Age: Orgins, on any difficulty Normal and Higher)

5. Darth Vader (The Force Unleashed)

The final stages of Mass Effect 3 is a pain indeed, but It is still totally worth it

In regards to Alpha 152, I found that the best way to deal with her is to repeatedly spam a forward motioning attack after she teleports. This won't be 100% effective, but it usually does the trick to lower her life to the point where you can hopefully
get lucky enough to land that last hit

For me,the only time i was surprised by a boss,that was Psyko Mantis (MGS)....before and after that it's the usual boss fight.

And yes,Raam is an hard one.

 

RAAm on insane was a PITA!

 

Ruby Weapon (FFVII) Whose brilliant idea was it to make a boss instantly get rid of two party members?

Lenith (Star Ocean 3) Whose brilliant idea was it to give her a move that hits the entire battlefield and the only way to survive it is to drink an invincibility potion half a second before it hits?

All Dragons (Dragon's Dogma) Though they are not exactly bosses, I won't to know whose brilliant idea was it to make the dragons decide they can leave the fight whenever they please? Effectively making all your time spent fighting them a waste.

Death (Dragon's Dogma) I don't even know how to kill it. It sure knows how to kill me though...

 

Thanks for the tip Lei Fang, and I agree in regards to Mass Effect. It was brutal, but awesome.

I remember fighting Ruby Weapon & the trick was to knock out the other 2 members so that they wouldn't be permanently removed.

I've never been able to defeat Ruby Weapon & Emerald Weapon without having to resort to using the Game Shark (it came with the Original Playstation One bundle that my friend gave me a long time ago). You're awesome because you were able to do it without
the Game Shark

I also noticed that Alpha 152 is highly susceptable to running slide attacks (if the character that you're using has it).

That fight really put the xbox 360's controller construction to the test as it was thrown around my basement in rage for about a week straight.

Before I became a gamer, I have seen my friends throw their control pads due to rage / frustration.

I didn't understand why someone would do that until I became a gamer due to my friend gaving me his Original Playstation One with a whole bunch of games (when he upgraded to the newly launched PS2).

I have thrown my control pads in rage / frustration too, but seeing what happend to numerous broken controllers (from my friends) made me prepare for such events. The solution that I came up with was to take an empty laundry basket and then I put my pillow
in it. Thus, when I throw my control pad in rage / frustration into the laundry basket; it doesn't get damaged at all (make sure that the laundry basket is deep just in case it bounces back out).

I rage all the time in games and there only one time I broke a controller. it was a Wii remote. Man that thing went into a million pieces.
