I agree with you zfair. There are many XBLA games I wish I never bought and I look at and think "wtf was I smoking?"

 

All About Owning Games

I'm not sure how many games we own, but I can tell you the ones I'll never get rid of, along with the ones I wish I'd never bought. I'll never get rid of my Final Fantasy X and XII, and I wish I had never bought Modern Warfare 3.

 

Only a couple of my friends had the game, and they were in America. Private sessions were nearly pointless. I did try to use the Mobile bank deposits, but it became a tedious chore, and I could never do it fast enough.

 

See I love AC4 I thought it was one of the best AC.

 

I didn't buy AC4 because I heard there were a lot of Naval sections and I didn't like them.

 

As a Assassin's Creed fan, the yearly releases are becoming harder and harder to enjoy. They need to space them out. And in my opinion AC4 was a good game. But I believe they had a chance to create a new IP.

Black Flag being it. Give it some Mass Effect style recruiting for your crew and first mate and so on. Have after missions briefings on the deck or in the captains cabin. Instead they made Black Flag an Assassin's Creed game and used it as a cash grab.
It's sad. Because that was a really good Pirate game, with so much potential.

^^ Brink? lol I've never played it, but game had a serious amount of hype.

 

My online record was 0 wins and 24 losses. I am atrocious at fighting games. I bought it, because it got such high reviews, but the game annoyed me. The same goes for Bayonetta. I'm just not very good at the game and it got overly frustrating.

 

5 worst games

1. Payday 2 - It could have easily been one of my favorite games of last gen but it was nothing more than a beta/demo disc.

2. Army of 2 - I love co-op games, but this game just felt clunky to me.

3. Assassin Creed 3 - (I really enjoyed AC4)

4. Bioshock Infinite - I didn't enjoy it. Another game I couldn't connect with.

5. Dead Rising 2 - (I really enjoy Dead Rising 3)

In order

#1 Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quater. Even as a teenager who would play and find some small enjoyment in almost any game you put in front of him. This game almost made me throw up in my mouth. Its a blight on the Breath of Fire franchise and I often wonder
of it hadn't existed, would I still be enjoying Breath of Fire games on my console today? Instead its making its reemergence as a stupid touch pad RPG next year. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

#2 Dark Souls. I fell for the hype which is unusual of me. I already knew it wasn't my type of game. Complete waste of money as I have no intentions of playing it further.

#3 Final Fantasy XIII-2. Absolutely stupid game. I rarely give my games away for free but I couldn't in good conscious, ask for money (NOT even from Gamestop) for that game.

#4 Fallout 3. Buggy and glitchy mess. I refuse to buy any game from these developers now as the trend seems to continue... Had I known that was par for the course I wouldn't have brought it in the first place..

#5 Halo 3. Had zero fun with the franchise before so I don't know why I thought anything would change with the 3rd iteration. Stupid me. Maybe it was because I wanted new games for my new console or something.

 

In no particular order

1. MW3

2. Any of the EA Harry Potter games that I bought. Knowing they were going to be terrible I bought them anyways because Harry Potter.

3. Fable III: was just a let down from the awesomeness of Fable II

4. Prototype: I just didn't care for it at all

5: Wolfenstein (the one from 2009): Huge disappointment couldn't even finish it

I really enjoyed Dead Rising 1, but whoever decided that events should happend in "real time" as opposed to "whenever a player gets there" should have realized that the game is A LOT less fun rushing to the next event before the time expires. Add to this
the fact that you only had 1 save file.

Personally, I never got the "real ending" in Dead Rising 1 because I kept on missing the time specific events LOL
