I'm not sure, I played one or two, but don't recall.

 

Extreme-G , think I played it as much for the tunes as the racing itself

Splatter house - for obvious reasons

 

It's a very dark game compared to all the other PoP's, all heavy metal music throughout.

 

In that case no, I have not played it, I would have remembered a track like that, thanks for the heads up though, I might see about getting it.

Resident Evil 2 is my #1 all time favorite Resident Evil game in the entire series

With that being said, I was really disappointed from Resident Evil 4 and onwards as the game has taken a "Shoot everything that gets in your way" approach. Seriously, what happend to the "Survival Horror" aspect of the game?

Have you seen the "Dead Space 1 Twinkle Twinkle Little Star trailer" and the "Dead Space 2 Ring Around the Rosey trailer"? I highly recommend that you check them out

I find it quite odd that you liked the dead space games yet didn't like resident evil 4. I played dead space 1 and felt it was extremely similar to RE4. However, I do agree that they should take it back to survival horror. The shoot 'em up aspect kind of
degraded it. I think resident evil 4 was awesome though regardless.

I know this is going to sound lame, but the reason that I don't like Resident Evil 4 and onwards is because when I first played the Resident Evil series on the Playstation One, it was a "Survival Horror" game, not a "shooting gallery". There is no such
thing as a "Game Plus Mode" in Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 Nemesis, and Code Veronica (this is the way that I want it).

When I entered the Dead Space 1, it wasn't a Survival Horror because of the "Game Plus Mode". Thus, I accepted this fact and I was okay with it

Hey lei fang, I gotcha. I kinda thought that's what you meant but I wasn't sure. It doesn't sound lame though I completely understand. A series should add small features that make the new one better, yet reminiscent of the games that got it there. Not so
much copy and paste like call of duty. More like Megaman classic to Megaman X. Sane game at the core, but tons of new features to keep it new and interesting.

I'm glad you understand the point that I was trying to get across, thank you very much

In Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 Nemesis, and Code Veronica; you were always at a disadvantage with every new play through. Thus, making the player be more effecient this time around.

But with the Dead Space series using the "Game Plus Mode", the disadvantage that you have constantly gets smaller with each new play through that at a certain point / new play through; the protagonist becomes so powerful due to armor / weapons upgrades that
the enemies (if they were intelligent enough) should be running away from you (the protagonist).
