Top 5 Awful/Heartbreaking/BS Moments (Possible Spoilers)

I loved Final Fantasy XIII's entire soundtrack. I never played 13-2 or Lightning Returns. That sounded like the combat music in FF XIII but remixed. I enjoyed it.

 

Do you remember Blinded by light Doc? It was just tweaked a little to form.. Crimson Blitz! Also the name of Lightning's sword in Lightning Returns haha. But enough spoilers. You should definitely play 13-2 and LR! They're awesome games.

 

I do remember. It is a very catchy tune. Can't forget it. As far as playing the others. I have heard this many times from NxtAce. We both enjoyed XIII but i couldn't bring myself to play without Lightning and couldn't play lighting returns without
understanding 13-2.

 

1. Halo Reach, when a covenant sniper killed Kat.

2. Tropico 4, when I tried to launch a saved game, the game always crashed lol.

3. TDU2, when in multiplayer police chat, the player got away, and he was a repeat offender.

4. Final Fantasy XIII, fighting the first Barthandelus boss. Had to get the official guide to help but later learned of a video on Youtube how to overcome him, go for the small heads first. I spent 3 weeks on that boss fight before I could proceed, but the
cutscene afterwards and overall graphics and battle system is amazing!! I use Vanille Sazh and Lightning for that boss.

5. London 2012, didn't know how to swim, I kept on floating despite mashing all the buttons on my controller. I felt like a rubber duck.

 

I know what you mean. FFXIII without my Claire?! I was sadface. She makes appearances in the game, but I missed playing as her. She was my party leader 99.9% of the time. I love dat woman. Noel and Serah(the main characters of XIII-2) are good too doe. Not
as awesome as Lightning obviously haha, but they were more of the same old characters we liked in the series. Plus the main bad guy is a guy with purple hair.You don't get a villain more badess than that. I will say that 13-2's story wasn't quite as good as
XIII's though. They could have left it alone with 13's ending, but you'll see why they made a sequel and then a sequel after that lol.

How I rank them.. XIII>LR>XIII-2

XIII was just slightly better than LR! And my favorite of the series.

@Sky: Lightning Sazh and Vanille was pretty much my main party from Chapter 9 on onwards too. Great team. Buff, debuff and poop on kids lol.

 

Came into post John Marston but the OP beat me to it. Couldn't believe it. I thought it was a dream sequence or something.

 

Well, let's see - my top 5 are:

Walking Dead Season 1

Episode 1

Episode 2

Episode 3

Episode 4

Episode 5

Honorable mentions include Metal Gear Solid and the fight with Psycho Mantis and X-Men on the Sega Genesis with the fight against Mojo (that last one = mind blown back in the day; it took me months to figure out on my own).

PS - I still haven't beaten Red Dead Redemption...

 

In the last two chapters I mainly had Lightning Hope and Vanille. They're excellent medics and ravagers and Hope has Haste when you level them up. Sazh kept on moving about while in battle like he was drunk gittering up and down, drew me crazy. Out of XIII,
XIII-2 and XIII Lightning Returns, XIII (first one) is my favourite. Great graphics and battle system. Am not really use to the battle system in XIII Lightning Returns. To me, the graphics in the [first] Final Fantasy XIII is better even tho it's running at
576p native some cutscenes even the last and some game play I think it's running at 1080p native or at least 720p. The graphics look that good. Good think no one can KO you when you have an Eidolon on the field. I liked Odin's show off moves. Have all my characters
maxed buffed out after playing after the story so re-fighting the last two bosses in the game are now super easy.

GG... like Walking Dead? Haha and x-men. Wow, that was a great game. Except they didnt really nail Wolverines healing factor very well

 

Lol I remember Sazh with his gittering up and down. He was on the good stuff.

The battle system in LR is different than the others, but once you get used to it, it's quite fun! Just switching costumes back and forth and spamming different moves XD Plus I get to customize my Lightning how I want her. Let's just say I had a lot of fun
with her. lol. Such a loser. My girlfriend accepts my love for Lightning though. She even bought me a purple LR t-shirt. Two of my favorite things in one. The woman gets me. She also bought me LR!

And yeah, XIII had some of the best 360 graphics ever for sure! I would love for the trilogy to be ported to the One. I would buy that in a heartbeat. Odin was my favorite Eidolon as well. He was my little pony! And no, I'm not a brony. I can't stand that
show. I don't understand how people can even like it lol.

 

I loved Odin as well. And i must say I am worried about Final Fantasy as a whole. I loved the turn based fighting. I dont want a hack n slash. Final Fantasy 13 i thought was perfect for combat style. Keep it like 13, just open the world back up.

 

The rumored combat for 15 is appalling for me. I do not want a Final Fantasy: Devil May Cry. I want Lost Odyssey and FF 13 style combat. Another genre COD has effected.

These are the ones that I can think of now, I'll probably receive a text from Doc saying "what about this one".

1. The Walking Dead season 1 end had me almost in tears.

2. Soap dying in MW3, *** you sledgehammer.

3. The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, as much as I love it it's a very sad game with the main theme of the 5 stages of grief.

4. Losing Mordin in ME3 was a tough one.

5. Loghain's betrayal and utter blindness to the threat that the darkspawn actually pose in Dragon Age: Origins.

As a final note Robin Williams was found dead yesterday from apparent suicide. He was a phenomenal actor, comic genius, and icon to me. May he rest in peace.
