(Top 10 Forza 5 drag racer) I got my account reset after newest update

Thank you in advance for help I receive.

Like the Subject line states, I am one of the top drag racers in Forza 5. I'm seeking help so this incident gets resolved and doesn't happen to more gamers. After reading the Forza Motorsport forums I know i'm the the only one this happens to. Others might
overlook it and are okay with a reset account, but I have spent months earning over 30 million credits and countless hours tuning. Look me up on Rivals leaderboards. Honestly if this incident is not resolved I don't see myself wasting much more time on this
game if this would happen again.

After the newest update on August 31st I turned off my system just to find out in the morning that my account had been reset. I contacted Xbox Customer Support which we spent 2 hours exhausting troubleshooting steps after which I get told Xbox is having
server issues that my problem would be resolved in less then 24 hours. I attempt all troubleshooting steps many times and 3 days later i contact Xbox Customer support again. This time after troubleshooting I was asked to post here so the Enforcement team could
isolate the problem.

Yea i havnt played forza in months because my xbox destroyed my old disk but i just got a new one and i made a drag race tuning and i was getting ready to do a couple drag races...but the option to start a drag is no longer in the rivals menu....it used
to be but it isnt anymore? wtf lol can anyone tell me how to start up drag races for rivals mode? thank you.

It is just that the Xbox Live agent sent me a direct link to this forum to seek help from the Enforcement team. The agent told me this was the next step and only way to get in contact with them.

 

The xbox agent was incorrect. I also spoke to a Forza mod about your situation and he sent you a message. Not sure if its a xbox live message or a xbox forums PM. But check both as he can help you.

I wonder when they will get round to training support staff at MS?

 

After talking with someone from Turn 10 there is no issue on their end. Nothing at this point that anyone has found anyway. They seem to think it's possible that if you got to Xbox Support quickly and didn't continue to play then there may be a small chance
they can recover. Now weather that is possible or not I am not sure. They did not go into any details on if they mean support can recover it or something you would need to do.

Well even though my issue wasn't resolved by them, both customer agents were very courteous. It sure made over 2 hours of troubleshooting more pleasant.

 

@fyerall 72 Xbox live says they can't help, and Turn 10 says the problem is not on their end, i'm a bit confused on who to turn to now. As you well know, it is very time consuming to churn 30 million in game credits and making tunes. What if this happened
to idk lets say (fat burns)? Would you tell him sorry bud we can't help you just start over again? I'm sorry if I sound irritated, it's just that it has been 4 days since I have been reset and still no solution.

I understand the frustration. I can only relay the information I was given from Turn 10 . If you go to the site you can try and PM one of them on your own.

Also if you are in the preview program for Xbox it might not hurt to check with them as well.

 

If you would kindly direct me with a link or the most efficient way to contact a Turn 10 employee. I'm just baffled how my game save is lost just after the new Xbox system update yet MS isn't taking responsibility and making me get Turn 10 help me with the
issue. I have a friend that had just started playing Forza 5 a few weeks ago and he too was reset about the same time I was. Since he was at such a low level I guess he didn't mind the reset.
