  1. Toothpick broke off in manual eject Xbox one

My eject wasn’t working so I used the maunal eject. Now you be thinking, so what’s the problem? you already got the disc out? Well the problem is I’m a dummy and use a toothpick to get it out. And the toothpick broke while I was trying to get the disk
out, and now it’s inside the Xbox. Please help an idiot like me, if the toothpick didn’t damage the Xbox an i can still use it, is the toothpick being in there a fire hazard? And if it is, how do I get it out?

    :)

    Hey there!

OH NO!! Sorry to hear you have broken a toothpick in the console. As stated within the support article for

Manually Ejecting a Disc on the Xbox One
, this should have been done with a large paperclip, this is to avoid issues like this from happening. Unfortunately we do not know if this would be a Fire Hazard. There should not be any components in that area that
would overheat to the point that it would catch the toothpick on fire but we can never rule out the possibility.

I would advise that you check to see if this console is still within warranty. Go through the

    Device Support
website to register your console and check on the warranty. If within warranty then set up a repair order for the console so that you can get this taken care of.

    You can always
    Contact Xbox Support
if you require further assistance in setting up the order.

    I hope this helps.

Even if the console is not under warranty you can still have it worked on, however, you would have to pay a deductible.

    game disc is stuck

I really wouldn't suggest you poke anything into the disc slot, should you cause any damage doing that you may find yourself being asked why you broke the console and want a replacement.

It could be the disc is jammed in to tightly to be released manually or you're not quite hitting the sweet spot to get the disc to eject, could you try the paperclip method again.

System failure due to new update

In addition. With the system off, I press the eject button and the system powers on but makes no attempt to eject. Meaning... Power and data connections both working. Not a mechanical failure, gears still work to manually eject. This is failed firmware in
the drive. On top of that, following instructions on Xbox web site to manually eject, not a single one of the locations listed for the hole, match my drive.
