Too Much Overheating

• Make sure that you place your Xbox Series X|S console on a stable surface that is well-ventilated, relatively cool, and away from direct heat sources. Don't put other objects on, under, or right next to the console.
  
• Proper ventilation is important to prevent overheating. Be sure that your console has a minimum of 4-6 inches of clearance on all sides.
  
• Do not place your console inside an enclosed cabinet. Make sure that none of the console’s vents are blocked.

If the console is too old and has been used a lot, it could be a problem of overheating due to the unsuitable thermal paste. Does the console give out too much heat when it is operating?

No the xbox and the power supply don’t seemed to be overheated left it unplugged over night to see if it was an issue of the xbox being over heated however same problem.

Could be a case of the damage already being done.

Your router may be overheating. If there's too much traffic and it's a rather cheap router, it'll overheat, or just freak out and disconnect. Too many devices on a network can cause this. Your Xbox 360 just might me the straw breaking the camel's back
